Avery Westbrooks

Avery Westbrooks is a Native American author and ​Ph.D student studying developmental psychology. ​Before graduate school, she taught children from 2nd-​5th grade and is very passionate about developmental ​research, community outreach, and environmental ​sustainability. As founder, she wanted to create a space ​where her colleages and friends could collaborate and ​apply their research to youth literature.

Korina Odom, M.A.

Korina Odom is a first-generation Ph.D. student ​studying developmental psychology. Before graduate ​school, she worked as a case manager for children and ​adolescents, sparking her interest in positive youth ​development, parenting, and peer relationships. As a co-​founder, she is thrilled to blend scientific research with ​youth literature, making research accessible for all ages.
